About the Role

At Madi Pharmaceuticals, cleanliness is a cornerstone of our commitment to safety, compliance, and product quality. We’re looking for a Sanitation Technician to join our Calgary-based team and uphold industry-leading hygiene standards within our food and pharmaceutical-grade production facilities.

Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and compliant workspaces in accordance with Health Canada, GMP, and environmental safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep-cleaning sanitation of production areas, processing equipment, and common spaces

• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and disinfection

• Safely use approved cleaning agents, personal protective equipment (PPE), and sanitizing tools

• Manage and monitor sanitation supply inventory; notify supervisor when restocking is needed

• Support the maintenance of a GMP-compliant environment

• Strictly follow company safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a sanitation or janitorial role, preferably in a food, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing setting

• Working knowledge of food safety regulations and/or GMP standards

• Ability to consistently follow written instructions, cleaning protocols, and time-sensitive procedures

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety

• A proactive, dependable attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team

• Physically fit and able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
