About the Role

Madi Pharmaceuticals, a Canadian leader in the production and distribution of pharmaceutical and food-grade ingredients, is looking for a Filling & Packaging Line Technician to join our fast-paced production team. You will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient filling, sealing, and packaging of liquid and dry products using modern bottling and canning lines, all within a Health Canada GMP-compliant facility.

This position is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for working in a clean, safety-conscious environment.

What You’ll Do

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, operating, and maintaining canning and bottling line equipment

• Conducting pre- and post-production equipment checks

• Monitoring product flow, fill levels, and line speed to ensure efficient operations

• Performing basic troubleshooting and reporting mechanical issues

• Accurately completing production documentation (manual and digital)

• Tracking raw material usage and reporting inventory discrepancies

• Supporting the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Ensuring production adheres to cGMP, Health Canada, and HACCP standards

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives

• Upholding workplace safety and environmental standards

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or Canadian equivalent (minimum)

• Completion of a Process Operations or Packaging Technician program is a strong asset

• Experience operating packaging lines or machinery in food/pharma environments preferred

• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with automated systems

• Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and good communication skills

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes
