About the Role

Do you have a passion for precision, innovation, and science-driven manufacturing? Madi Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Bioprocessing Technologist to support our biopharmaceutical and biotechnology production efforts within a Health Canada-regulated, GMP-compliant facility.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, you’ll play a key role in operating, maintaining, and improving bioprocessing systems that are vital to the development and supply of pharmaceutical-grade materials used across Canada and globally.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bioprocessing Technologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining bioprocessing systems (e.g., fermentation, filtration, purification)

• Monitoring real-time process data and critical parameters to ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP standards

• Diagnosing equipment issues and supporting preventive maintenance efforts

• Collaborating with R&D, QA, and production teams to improve yield, purity, and throughput

• Accurately documenting activities using electronic batch records and process logs

• Supporting deviation investigations, change controls, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

What You Bring

• High school diploma (minimum), with strong results in English and Math

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

• Previous experience operating biopharma/biotech production equipment

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Understanding of GMP, biosafety, and cleanroom practices

• Clear communicator, team-oriented, and focused on accuracy and compliance
